Plan reflection 11/29

Today I was working on my PSA I started to making my plan. First I started by making a plan and now I know how long is my video going to be and how I'm going to make it. I rated myself 5 out of 5 because  I was paying attention to everything and now i know how to make my project. Also I was focused in my work and start working on iMovie producer I'm going to try to plan my project at my house so that way when i came to class I'll just need to do my work better. My plan is to make a really good video and also i'm going to work on it during intervention and at my house.

Digital Access

Ettiquete: While a person is in the internet they should always use ettiquette
Conduct: When people have a bad conduct in school they stay in detention.
Courtesy: A lot of people should know what courtesy is.
Flame: People who participate in flame will be in trouble.
Troll: A troll can be cancel by the government.
Anonymous: Some people remain anonymous while they confess a crime.

EVALUATION

My rating of myself on a scale of 1-6.

Investigation: In investigate I rated myself with a 4,because sometimes i got distracted about what i was doing but at the same thing when i didn't finish something i did investigate about what i was doing in my project at my house.

Design: In design part I rated myself with a 5 because i could have design something better instead of a game. I could have done something more creative and better. When i was doing my design part i could have done my games as well as the questions.

Plan: the plant par i rated myself with a 6 because i did the plan and i think that I did it correctly. I also try my best on this step of the design cycle because i think that this is the most hard thing to do, but i manage my time great and thats why i did my product really good.

Create: In the create part I rated myself with a 5. because i think that I could have done the questions much better and i could have made more better options to do my game and also that they went it weren't the same.

Evaluate: In evaluate I rated myself with a 6 because I think that i evaluate myself really good and i feel confident on what i did. Also i think that I have evaluate myself really good.

Attitudes of Technology: In Attitudes of Technology I rated myself with a 6, because when i was doing my project and my work I use attitudes of technology so i would do it better in my work and i was really focused in my project because i wanted to be a really good product. Also i did all my work and I was respectful with my classmates and when they didn't feel the same way to work as i did i told them to work so they could finish their work. When i didn't understand something in class I asked Mrs. Hinojosa how to do it so that way my project could be a great work.

Testing of Product

Today we got the chance to work with some of the 6th graders. Two of them came into our class and player with my game. They were very interested with it. i give them to play like 4 minutes then i told one of the guy that they were going to have a tes about it so they would  pay attention to it and when i told them to stop playing and that they need to do an exam they said that it was a really cool game and it makes me happy because that was what i wanted and when i give the test for them one of them got a 70 and the other an 80 so i think it was pretty cool because they understood what i wanted the point was for them to understand what the design cycle was and also that they were really happy and it makes me happy too. Also i noticed that they were asking questions about what each game was about based on the little figures that it have. i was given the opportunity to explain to them more less what the design cycle was about and it was used for think that they gor a really good idea of what it stands for and how the design cycle helps a lot not only in school, but also it help you when you grow up in your job to how to make a big project you would do it by using the design cycle and you would do it easy and great.

IA PART II

1. How can my learning serve my community?
I think that my learning can help the community by helping them i whatever they need if they to do a project just like mine i would love to help them to do it and also i would tell them the steps of the design cycle in order to do it easier.

2. How can your future projects become better?
I think that i did I really good job on my project so i just need to do it better on the questions a put a little bit of things so that way it will become a better project. Also when you do a project you can use your knowledge because in everything you learned new thing you always can do your best in everything no matter what.

3. What have you learned about yourself and what you will continue to do or not do and why? 
Now i learned how to do a project because i learned a lot in this class and also i learned that the design cycle makes you life easier because it tell you step by step how to do a project and it is better and easier. Also i have learned that i like to work hard and like big goals. 

4. How do you feel about your final product? What would you rate yourself on the Rubric scale of 1-6 for each part of the Assessment Criterion? 
Based on how thing worked out, i would rate myseld a 6 in all of the categories because i now a really great project  and because in the end my product came out really good, and i know i wouldn't be able to do it without doing all of the previous steps.

5. What would you do differently in regards to your planning and execution of your plan? Actually i know that i can do a great job if put all my best in my work, and i know that the stage of planning something is the hardest thing to do because you're trying to figure it out what to do. I would probably do it better by being more confident with myself and more realistic. Also i know there were a lot of things that kept me from doing the max during this project but in the end it looked good and it helped me to teach the design cycle to the 6th graders.

REFLECTION

I rated myself with a 6 in the criterion F.

1. I rated myself with a 6 because I always try to do my work independently and try my best in everything. I always did my work and i think that i did very good in my project and when we have to work I always did it, honestly sometimes i got distracted but I always did my work in class and when I didn't finish in class I finish it in my house. I always did all my work independently.
2. When I was doing my project and my work I use the attitudes of technology so I would do better in my work and I was really focused in my project because i wanted to do it good. I always did all the work that i was supposed to do in class and if i didn't know what to do or how to it I asked Mrs.Hinojosa.
3. When I was doing my work I worked really hard and really try all my best and i pay a lot attention to it. I was really dedicates in my project because i wanted to do it correctly and I think that i did a really good job on in. I always work really hard and I try to understand things that i didn't know how to do and i also help others when they didn't know what do or how to it.

4. When i was doing my project I always try my best and try to being always happy about i was doing correctly. I always did all my work and I was always trying to be happy about it so it can be a better work and i know i can do it. When i try my best my things work better.
5. When I was doing my work and I didn’t know how to do it or if I was doing it right I ask the teacher and make a better work out of it. Also when other people didn’t know what to do or how to do it I motivated them so they can do their work and motivated about and also that they would want to do their work.

6. When I was doing my work and I didn’t know what to do or if I was doing it right I never loss my confidence in what I was doing. When other people didn’t know if they were doing it correct I make them feel comfortable in what they were working and make sure that everyone was confident of what they were doing.
7. At the beginning of the project Mrs. Hinojosa put is deadlines and I always do everything the day it was supposed to be done. If for some reason I didn’t finish my work in class when I get home I finish it so it can be done the same day and not to be worried about it. When the teacher told us when the project was due I start it doing all my best and finish everything when it was supposed to be done so that way I won’t be worried about to finish it.
8. In my work I try to follow my procedures and I did my design cycle correctly. I also followed the right procedures and make my work better so my design cycle was done how it supposed to be and be a really good, great project.
9. I always follow the rules of the design cycle and how we were supposed to it. Also I always follow the rules that the teacher gives me, and when the teacher told us to do something I always follow all the rules that she puts us and do my work hot it was supposed to be so it can be a really great project. That’s why I rated myself with a 6 in my criterion F because I did try ALL my best to do my project so the 6th graders can understand it and know what the design cycle is about and also because I follow the rules and everything and I think I did pretty good in my project.

Create

Today I finished the game in the design cycle that I'm going to use and I create a game because I thought it was really easy to make. I think that a sixth grader could understand it and they would like to play it. Today I gave myself a 6 because i did all my work and i finish my 3 design and i have choose the best one. I know the sixth graders would understand it really good and it would be really easy for them that is why i made a game because it was really easy. I stay all the class and did my work. 
I believe that my games are really good because all of them explain the design cycle and i think i choose the best one and that the sixth graders would understand it better. I rated myself with a 6 because of the thing that i say before and that is why I rated myself with a 6 out of 6.

Design Brief





10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it. for my project i am going to make a comic master that describes the design cycle in a easy way. I am going to make so the 6th graders can understand it what the design cycle is about without getting confused.

12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment? The limitations for this project is the time because we just have 2 minutes and is not enough time to present a project.

COMICMASTER

I give a 5 for characters, because character is who is the main character in the story like the movies. Another reason why I choose character is that i would put a lot of pictures and that way students can understand it better. Which is why I scored it a 5. 

Music: I give a 5 for music, because the music is one way to be more creative, also it makes you feel better when you are presenting, and I can get the 6th graders attention with music.

Font: I rated font with a score of 3, my reason for rating this is a 3 because I find it very easy to write on the computer. In addition to that, the font looks nice. The good part of the font is that it had different types of sizes and different kinds of letters. The text can also be very easy to read, yet it can be very complex depending on how the person can understand the cartoons. The text also has a diverse variety of colors you can use on the text. 

Simplicity: I rated simplicity with a score of 3 because I find it easy to do this but at the same time i think is difficult so that is why i rated this with a 3.






Flip Book

 My approach on this project will either make or break my success. I have decided that considering two completely different approaches will help me get a better understanding of what can work. Wether the kids are able to ineract with the product is very important to me. I choose this program because i think the 6th grader will understand it better because it will have a lot of pictures. This is my rating for flip book. I rated four categories of the flip book. I rated font with a score of 5, my reason for rating this is a 5 because I find it very easy to write on the computer. In addition to that, the font looks nice. The good part of the font is that it had different types of sizes and different kinds of letters. The flip book allows you to write anywhere on the page. The text can also be very easy to read, yet it can be very complex depending on how the person can draw or write with the mouse. Also, the text has a diverse variety of colors you can use in text. I rated font a 5 because it is very easy and simple to do it. For simplicity I decided to rate a 3, reason being is because in my opinion it's pretty easy to understand for a 6th grader. The layout it has is as simple as it gets, the font is simple to, no fancy or crazy drawings. also the wording is not a high level wording it's just normal wording. For the music i rated a 2, reason for that is because i couldn't really find music that went along with my product so i choose the most fitting one, according to the product. For characters i decided to rate a 4, because they are relevant to my product, they are in a friendly mood and have a positive attitude, and adds that extra cool to the product. All products have characters that relate to them and that's what i did as perfect as i could.

Reflection Day 2

I think that the comic book will be much better and easier to catch the students attention because the 6th graders like pictures and it will have  a lot of pictures. The 6th graders like the books with pictures and it will look good for them. Last time i asked my little sister why she read comic books and she told me because its better the books with pictures.

I choose this program because i think is the best way to learn and it will have a lot of pictures and it will be easier to catch the 6th graders attention because of the pictures and the video.


I pick this one because a lot of children likes the pictures and it would be also creative and it will be more easier to catch the students attention.
